Well let’s be honest its not really is it… haha. The past few months have been manic. I love the thought of becoming a blogger, but in reality I literally don’t know how people do it, especially the ones who have kids, work, a house to clean, dogs to walk, arses to wipe and everything else thrown in the mix. I’m still trying to find out their secret. I never wanted to feel the pressure doing a blog and certainly don’t want to put my blog before the important things in life, like cleaning the house (joke). I guess that is the good thing about them, you can do as little or as much as you like.
Sooooo what have I been doing that has kept me so busy?! Well we had an amazing family holiday in Cyprus. We always go with TUI Sensatori resorts and they’ve all been amazing but the Cyprus one was by far the best. We went with Nicks parents so was really nice spending some quality time with them. Im so lucky because I get on really well with my in-laws, they are like our best mates.
A couple of weeks after that we went to the South Devon to visit their holiday cottage that they’ve been renovating. Its nearly finished and looks incredible. Whilst we were down there some more family members came to visit which was great to see them and have a good catch up. The boys and dogs had endless amounts of fun on the beach as did we.
In BIGGER news we’ve got the keys to our new garage and everyone have been working hard to get it looking great. It’s had a complete revamp and is looking very smart indeed. We are just waiting on the go ahead for the cladding on the outside of the building and once that’s completed we will be planning a launch evening ( I love planning a good party).
Whilst doing all this both the boys have had chicken pox and Ned the dog had his balls off. Happy dogs and kids (NOT). Probably the biggest reason for my blog neglect has been the fantastic sunshine. I cannot believe we have done almost two months solid great weather and we have been making the most of it with BBQs, Playing in the River, walks and just enjoying ourselves and spending it with fab friends. The boys are at a great age and I feel it is really important to spend good time enjoying the simple things in life.
That’s a little catch up of what’s been going on our end. Hopefully writing this might spur me on to writing more frequently. I reckon I aimed quite high last time trying to do a blog post once a week. I might try once every two weeks, but who am I kidding its more likely to be once a month.
Have a fab summer guys
